A former Plant Operator Scholarship Program student
We celebrate Violet who trained as a Plant operator at Sensei college through the June scholarship program.
Violet is from a humble background, her father passed away due to cancer while her mother was not able to provide for them. She received loans and bursaries throughout her education to aid her fees.
While working as a domestic helper, violet was trying to save money to pursue the plant operator course, which has been her desire since she was a little girl. She came across the Sensei college sponsorship application on Facebook and decided to apply for the program. By the Grace of God she says, she was selected as one of the candidates for the program.
It has been a dream come true for Violet. Having Being exposed to different people from different parts of the country as well as professional and well-equipped instructors, she is confident that she has been well imparted with the skills and is ready to do her best in the industry.
Violet says she will be forever grateful for the opportunity, She believes in herself more now after constantly being encouraged by the instructors who trained her.
Her closing remarks, “Nothing is impossible, it’s up to you to believe and have courage and all shall be well with God’s help”.
